Wow- where do I begin? I contacted The Local to help plan a retirement celebration for a friend. The stakes were high: 50 people all with different budgets, and some with food allergies. Asia, the assistant manager/event coordinator and Executive Chef Zack went above and beyond to meet our needs. They curated a special a la carte menu with different price points/options. The mixologist came up with a signature cocktail to celebrate the guest of honor. And our servers, Jordan and Colin, kept our drinks flowing and food service on point! I don’t know how the back of house managed to have a sit down dinner with 50 entrees ready at the same time. It was an amazing night. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our friend as she retired from 46 years of nursing!

Absolutely loved our experience at The Local! We were there celebrating a friend’s birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. Not only was the food incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—but they surprised our birthday girl with a dessert topped with the biggest sparkling candle we’ve ever seen! It lit up the whole table and made her day unforgettable. Great atmosphere, attentive service, and those little extra touches that make a place truly memorable. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a great night out!

This restaurant was simply outstanding! The food was incredible, fresh and delicious with ample portion size. We loved our experience here. The service was top notch and the decor inside was inviting. Kudos to the chef, owner and staff. This place is a must visit in Baltimore.

Not the place I would’ve chosen, and yet I still gave it 5 stars and it had nothing to do with the meal. I ended up here when the driver spontaneously pulled into the parking lot and it was much too hot and I was much too hungry to sit in the car. The water tasted how I imagine the waterfall outside the little mermaid ride in Disney would taste. The fries were kinda crunchy and I had to request salt to find any flavor for my mashed potatos. And yet the waiter made the entire experience. Called us “my friends” the entire time. Overall absolutely amazing. My friend deserves a raise instantly. I mean let the guy own the place at this point because without our friend, I wouldn’t be returning.

This place never disappoints. Rainy day brought us in and it was worth it. Service was a little slow even though the place wasn't busy. Late lunch was great, food was hot and portion size was big! The Wagyu chili had so much meat in it, I was impressed! The short rib grilled cheese was melt in your mouth, amazing! Simply yum!!!

Great place to celebrate a special occasion without driving downtown. Quality of food was excellent - local, well seasoned, with something for everyone on the menu. Fish and short rib was perfectly cooked. We especially enjoyed the cocktails, although I *do not* recommend the lackluster happy hour options for food (wings and mussels pictured). Spent almost 200 on this meal with tip, so will only come back sparingly.

Best meal I’ve had in a while. Every staff member we interacted with was so kind and personable. The food and drinks were all very high quality. We took a chance on the chicken fried deviled eggs and my boyfriend is still talking about them. From start to finish, it was all amazing and delicious.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Great place for date night or meeting friends for drinks and appetizers. Love the unique menu and break from the everyday chain restaurants.
